About

94974 is the dedicated ZIP code used exclusively by the residents of San Quentin. I only learned this after a visit there to play basketball organized by Prison Sports Ministries. That experience stayed with me, sparking a growing curiosity about the stories behind its walls.

Some people wear ZIP codes to represent the places that shaped them.

94974 is for those whose lives have been touched by San Quentin, whatever that connection may be. Its mark draws inspiration from a distinctive window pattern found at the prison.
